Alex Pertout EL JARDIN DEL RITMO
Alex Pertout has released a second single El Jardin del Ritmo (with Raul Rekow) from his album Quadrifoglio, on Nailuj Music (The Planet / MGM). The performance features Pertout in a duo setting with one of his early inspirations and a longtime mentor, the legendary US conguero Raul Rekow from the Santana band. In this collaboration, Rekow showcases his signature style with remarkable improvisations on the quinto drum throughout the piece. Meanwhile, Pertout plays a set of bongos using sticks, engaging in lively and dynamic exchanges of varying lengths with Rekow during key sections of the composition.
